Simplex Conglomerate, established in 1912 with name “The Simplex Mills Company Limited” having its registered office at 30, Keshavrao Khadye Marg, Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk, Mumbai – 400 011.
In the year 1974-75, the company started manufacturing unit of industrial fabric and cotton yarn at Akola, Maharashtra
The company had its Paper & Pulp manufacturing unit at Gondia, Maharashtra which was started in the year 1983-84.
It diversified its business into Real Estate Development in the year 2001-2002 in joint venture with M/s. Godrej Properties Limited, Mumbai with its first mega residential project “Planet Godrej” on its own Mill land located in south-central Mumbai.
During the year 2004-05, the Simplex Conglomerate flagship company “The Simplex Mills Company Limited” demerged into two separate entities namely “Simplex Mills Company Limited” and “Simplex Papers Limited”. Subsequently, name of the flagship company has changed from “The Simplex Mills Company Limited” to “Simplex Realty Limited” after its diversification into Real Estate.
